The Sub-Culture Tee features original artwork designed and hand-printed by artist/ founder Derek Hanneman. The Jellyfish artwork includes Derek’s “Tendrils Living Style” and “Tendril Font” on the left chest, signature “Multi-symbol” on the right sleeve and ENGRAFFT’s submersible or submarine on the back- a metaphor for exploring in the depths of his mind like the ocean for the art and creatures that emerge and come to the light. The submersible has 831 on the fin, the area code of the Monterey Bay, a subtle nod to one of ENGRAFFT’s home areas and the deep sea exploration that happens there.
